Model: HO gauge DC. Electric locomotive 371 003 of the Czech State Railways. Execution in Najbrt paintwork with elaborate design of the roof area as well as the fan fins with a clear view, many separately attached plug-in parts, filigree design of the bogies and the spoked wheels, enclosed track clearers and air tanks in closed form for prototypical display cases. Prototype: In the 1980s, the CSD and the DR decided to procure two-system locomotives in order to simplify the constantly growing traffic and the operational processes in cross-border traffic on the Berlin-Dresden-Prague route. The expansion of the Decín-Prague connection for a maximum speed of 160 km/h made it necessary to upgrade some locomotives. From 1994, six Czech locomotives Rh 372 were adapted for faster international travel and have since operated under the class designation 371 – „Turbobastard“. The converted machines housed the CD in the Prague depot.
