With the model of the E-Lok Vectron „Flixtrain“ in epoch VI, Piko fulfills the wishes of model trainers, who have opted both as plant operators and collectors for models based on state-of-the-art railway technology. With the Vectron, Piko delivers a high-precision model, which has numerous extras based on a solid die-cast zinc frame and equipped with proven Piko standards. The proven engine ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is amplified by two traction tires, which are arranged diagonally on the inside axles of both bogies. The lighting of the front and rear lights is via LEDs whose color changes with the direction of travel. The outwardly elegant appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical „roof landscape“ and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles.
