Model: HO gauge DC. RTB Cargo class 192 electric locomotive. Prototypical implementation of the Smartron. Use in freight transport in Germany. Free-standing handle bars, partly made of metal. In cooperation with Railcolor Design. In digital operation with switchable high beam and individually switchable headlights or taillights. Sound in cooperation with Leosoundlab.
Prototype: RTB Cargo has had three Siemens Smartron locomotives in its fleet since April 2020. The machines rented from Northrail are mainly used in car logistics traffic between Dingolfing and the North Sea ports. All Smartron locomotives are handed over to the owner in a standardized version, only for traffic in Germany. Based on the Vectron platform, customers are offered a locomotive with the Smartron at attractive conditions. Visually, the Smartron differs from the Vectron locomotives in a modified front panel, slider steps with Smartron lettering and side panels without cameras.
