Model: HO gauge DC. French State Railways electric locomotive CC 6520. Finely detailed model with many separately applied plug-in parts, TEE paint scheme and filigree pantographs. Prototype: The French State Railways (SNCF) put the CC 6500 electric locomotives into service in 1969, the most powerful locomotives in French railway history up to that time. In the first years of operation, the locomotives were mainly used in front of well-known express trains such as the „Mistral“ or the „Capitole“ due to their top speed of 200 km/h. Later, the use of the locomotives shifted. Later on, the locomotives were also used in front of heavy goods trains.
