Model: HO gauge DC. EL 18 2260 electric locomotive of the Go-Ahead. Finely detailed model with Go-Ahead design, fine representation of the front handle bars and extra attached windscreen wipers. Prototype: Due to the procurement of multiple units, passenger trains hauled by locomotives are becoming increasingly rare in Norway. This concerns the 22 locomotives of the EL 18 series procured by NSB in the 1990s from the Swiss SLM, the German Adtranz and the Norwegian Strmmens Vrksted. The English Go-Ahead has leased three locomotives of this type from Norske Tog for the night trains of „Srtoget“.
