Model: HO Gauge. The Zugspitz Arena – then as now a fascinating world! The Christl Hut is located directly on the Zugspitzbahn line between Grainau and Eibsee. The hut was built around 1900 as a hunting lodge. It was cultivated from around 1951, making it a popular destination for tourists and locals. The beer garden was well attended! A special feature is the cogwheel route, which runs right in front of the house: when the route was driven on with the first generation of electric locomotives, they were so slow at this point due to the massive incline that the Christl hut was open could pass a beer on the locomotive to the driver. The „empties“ were then returned on the return journey. Unthinkable in terms of safety today, the locomotive drivers defied all odds against their locomotives in summer and winter and drove tourists towards the Eibsee and then up to the Zugspitze, Germany’s highest mountain peak. The hut is still standing today, but it has not been managed since the 1970s. The model kit contains a servo and ready-to-connect electronics that control the operation. This comes from the Christl hut, runs your way to the tracks and disappears inside the hut after the short handover of the beer. The model is limited to 1,000 pieces. A numbered certificate and detailed construction and connection instructions are included.Dimensions (L x W x H): 14.2 x 12.4 x 6.5 cm.
