Model: HO gauge DC. With mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Controlled high-efficiency drive with centrally installed flywheel mass. Two axles in each bogie driven via cardan. Traction tyres. The three-light headlights and two red marker lights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation, and can be controlled digitally. The headlights on locomotive ends 2 and 1 can be turned off separately in digital operation. The cab lighting changes over with the direction of travel and the engine room lighting can be controlled digitally. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. The pantographs can be raised and lowered digitally. Movable locomotive engineer figure in both cabs can be controlled digitally. Separately applied imitation wheels, grab irons, windscreen wipers, UIC sockets and roof wires. Buffer height according to NEM. Slightly aged operating condition. Brake lines, steps and screw couplings are included as separately attachable parts. Prototype: German Federal Railroad (DB) class 103 electric locomotive. Version with a „short“ engineer’s cab, single-arm pantographs, and buffer covering. Orient red basic paint scheme. Road number 103 144-2. State of operation as of 1989.
