Model: HO gauge DC. Electric locomotive series 141 of the Deutsche Bahn. Model in traffic red livery. Etched catwalks and wipers. Finely detailed model with free-standing handlebars. In digital operation with individually switchable headlights or taillights. With switchable cab lighting.
Prototype: The machines of the E 41/141 series were first delivered in 1956 for light mixed service on main and branch lines. They were the only series in the standard locomotive program to have a switching mechanism on the low-voltage side of the transformer. The rear derailleur had a characteristic noise development, which led to the nickname „firecracker“ in addition to the large jumps in traction.
