Model: HO gauge DC. Electric locomotive 186 906 „RAlpiercer“ from the leasing company Akiem leased to SBB Cargo International. Version with the baptism name “Katzenberg”, snow plow on the chassis and separately attached plug-in parts, some of which were made using etching technology. Both side walls with different designs. Prototype: The Akiem locomotives 186 901 – 910 have been running for SBB Cargo International since December 2020 and are primarily used in Rola traffic between Freiburg and Novara. As a result, all ten 186s have the RAlpin AG address on one side, while the second side reflects a revision of the existing Alppiercer design. The coat of arms „Katzenberg“, created especially for the locomotive, depicts the south portal of the 9.38 km long tunnel, which has been part of the Basel – Karlsruhe expansion project since 2012 and has been in operation immediately after the Swiss border. The Katzenberg Tunnel between Bad Bellingen and Effringen Kirchen is one of many strategically important tunnel constructions on the north-south corridor of SBB Cargo International and RAlpin AG.
