Model: HO gauge DC. Electric locomotive 193 736 of the Salzburg Railway Transport Logistics (SETG). Model available exclusively from ROCO. Elaborate printing in the „Marco Polo“ design. Used in international freight transport. Free-standing handle bars, partly made of metal. With detailed roof design. In digital operation with switchable high beam and individually switchable front or rear lights and driver’s cab lighting.
Prototype: where traders like Marco Polo once scouted out trade routes, railway companies are now also part of the international trade routes. The SETG is part of it with numerous connections from the seaports to Central Europe. The North Sea ports of Hamburg, Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven as well as the Adriatic port of Koper are linked to the Austrian terminals in Salzburg, Enns and Wolfurt. The SETG draws attention to this with the „Marco Polo“ Vectron, which is approved for use in Germany, Austria, Hungary, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia and Slovenia.
