Model: HO gauge DC. Print version of the ET41 PKP in the design of epoch IV. The ET 41 embodies, like the large prototype, a clear, functionally reliable and low-maintenance design. As a double locomotive, the model consists of a vehicle segment with drive and a segment without drive. Thanks to the powerful engine with two precisely balanced flywheels and the cardan shaft drives on the two two-axle bogies, the ET 41 has very balanced running characteristics. The high dead weight in combination with the diagonal traction tyres of the inside running axles of the driven bogies ensures prototypically high tractive forces. Since also the four axles of the non-driven segment serve for current collection and both segments are connected via a current-carrying close coupling, the model has an extraordinarily safe current collection over a total of 16 wheels. The model is prepared for digital operation and sound retrofitting. As a special feature, switching to overhead line operation is possible.
