Model: HO gauge DC. Re 465 009 electric locomotive of the Swiss railway company BLS. Version in the colour scheme in the refit design with fine representation of the front grab irons, a pantograph prototypical with wide collector shoe for use on the Basel connecting railway and extra attached windscreen wipers. Prototype: By 2022, the 18 BLS locomotives of type Re 465 will be modernised and given a new coat of paint. In order to enable the use of Vectron and Traxx locomotives in freight traffic, suitable multiple control systems will be installed. Furthermore, an Ethernet train backbone will be implemented for the traction of the Autotunnel and the future Goldenpass trains. The previous baptismal names will no longer be used. The work will be carried out in the company’s own factory in Bönigen.
