Model: HO gauge AC. Austrian Federal Railways electric locomotive 1142 685. Prototypical with different front ends. Prototype: After a collision with a goods train in February 2002, 1142 685 was repaired. In the process, the front at driver’s cab 2 received the then new, small headlights with train rear lights next to them, a larger sliding handle and handrails under the windows. On the side of driver’s cab 1 there are still the large lower headlights, the smaller sliding handle and the handrails under the head windows, which reach up to the driver’s cab doors. The blood orange paintwork has also been retained. This is the form in which the locomotive can still be found on Austria’s railway lines today, albeit in the Valousek design.
