Model: HO gauge DC. Electric locomotive series 371 of the Czech State Railways. Model in a finely detailed design with many separately attached plug-in parts. Current collector with innovative attachment. Elaborate design of the roof area and the fan fins with a clear view. Filigree design of the bogies and the spoked wheels. With enclosed course clearers and air tanks for prototypical display cases. Etched signs for additional company numbers included. In digital operation with switchable driver’s cab and control panel lighting as well as engine room lighting. With 16-BIT sound for a perfect sound experience. Dynamic Sound package for even better bass sound with two loudspeakers. Prototype: In the 1980s, the CSD and the DR decided to procure two-system locomotives in order to simplify the constantly growing traffic and the operational processes in cross-border traffic on the Berlin-Dresden-Prag route.
The expansion of the DecínPrag connection for a maximum speed of 160 km/h made it necessary to upgrade some locomotives. From 1994, six Czech Rh 372 locomotives were adapted for faster international travel and have since operated under the class designation 371 Turbobastard. The converted machines housed the CD in the Prague depot.
