Model:
HO gauge AC. With digital decoder mfx + and extensive sound and light functions. Regulated high-performance drive with flywheel, centrally installed. In each case 3 driving wheels and blind shaft in the two drive racks over Kardan driven. Traction tires. Curved joint suspension. Depending on the direction of travel, the three-light peak signal and 1 white taillight (Swiss light change) operate conventionally, digitally switchable. Lighting switchable at solo trip to 1 red taillight. Peak signal on locomotive side 2 and 1 each separately digitally switched off. Double-A-light function. Additional cab lighting and engine room lighting each separately digitally switchable. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red light emitting diodes (LED). Highly detailed metal design with many separately attached details, such as cooling tubes for the transformer oil. Driver’s cab and engine room replica. With Besandungsanlage at the Treibradgruppen. Detailed roof equipment with heating resistors, roof conductors, insulators, lightning protection coils and roof runners as well as scissors pantographs with simple rocker. Trafficable minimum radius 360 mm. Brake hoses, Schraubkupplungsimitationen and ascent ladders are enclosed. Length over buffer 22.1 cm.

Prototype:
Freight train electric locomotive series Fc 2×3 / 4 „Köfferli“ (later series Ce 6/8 I) of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB). Version in early delivery condition. Dark brown basic color with black chassis. With bar buffer, front cab doors without windows and with transition plates, with sanding system, without wrong signal and without Integra-Signum magnet. Locomotive operating number 12201. Operating condition middle / end 1919.
To select suitable machines for the electrical operation on the Gotthard, Swiss industry delivered 1919 four Probeloks for different purposes. At that time, a distinction was made in the electric locomotive between freight, express and passenger trains. Unitary locomotives in the modern sense did not exist yet. The mechanical part of all four locomotives was supplied by the Swiss locomotive and machine factory (SLM), while the Maschinenfabrik Oerlikon (MFO) supplied the Be 4/6 11301 and Be 3/5 11201 and BBC Baden with the Be 4/6 11302 and Fc 2×3 / 4 (later Ce 6 / 8I) 12201 was responsible for the electrical part. The 12201 (later 14201) was a (1’C) (C1 ‚) freight train with special consideration of the track conditions at the Gotthard. It was able to pull a maximum of 860 t trailer load on a gradient of up to 12 ‰. Their locomotive box rested on two three-axle engine bogies, which were driven by two traction motors on the blind shaft, propellant and coupling rods. Originally designed only as a six-axis machine, the electrical part was so heavy that two additional wheelsets and small stems were required. Because of these stems, the machine soon received the nickname „Köfferli-Lok“, but also „Schlotterbeck“ because of their troubled run later billed itself. On July 7, 1919, the Fc 2×3 / 4 12201 was delivered as the fourth and last Probelok and first tested by the depot Bern. After a relatively long trial period, it did not arrive until December 1919 to plan deployment between Bern and Spiez before traveling and freight trains. In March 1921, she was transferred to the Gotthard, where she rode from the Erstfeld depot to the plans of Ce 6 / 8II (Krokodil). From 1925 onwards at the Biasca depot, until 1930 it mainly provided towing services to Airolo on the south portal of the Gotthard tunnel. After another interlude at the depot Erstfeld 1938 went to Basel with the probation in the heavy goods train service. With increasingly sparse missions was until 1967 their withdrawal from the normal service. However, as a historical unicum, it stood by for conservation and was assigned to the depot Bern for brake tests. An excellently designed drive revision in 1968 in the main workshop Yverdon gave the veterans suddenly better running characteristics than ever. After a mileage of about 2,500,000 km, the locomotive was eventually retired end of May 1982 as the last Gotthard prototype.
