Model: HO gauge DC. Locomotive set with the electric locomotives 151 094 and 151 117 of the German Federal Railroad.
Both locomotives are fully equipped
Many attached plug-in parts, some made using etching technology
Wheels with low wheel flanges
Use in ore transport
Functional Automatic coupling of type AK69e included
Switchable head/tail light with DIP switch
Role model: As a highlight in freight transport, the class 151 locomotives hauled the heaviest ore trains in Western Europe between the North Sea ports and the Peine-Salzgitter steelworks as well as to Saarland from 1976. The trains achieved loads of up to 5,700 tons. The vehicle was driven exclusively in double traction and with an automatic clutch, as the conventional screw clutch would not have been able to withstand the very high tensile forces.
