Model: HO gauge AC. With the Vectron, Piko delivers a precisely manufactured model that is based on a solid zinc die-cast frame and is equipped with numerous extras. The tried and tested motor ensures excellent running characteristics with two large flywheels. The tractive power of the locomotive, which is driven by all four axles, is increased by two traction tires that sit diagonally on the axles running inside both bogies. The head and tail lamps are illuminated by LEDs, whose red or white changes with the direction of travel. The outwardly elegant appearance of this model includes a precisely reproduced technical “roof landscape” and carefully detailed bogies with prototypical wheel disc profiles. AC version with 2 pantographs in AC version. An MFX-capable decoder is installed ex works. The locomotive appears as a form variant true to the original without the middle sandboxes.
