Model: O gauge DC. Heavy-duty wagon RSSy 45 of the USTC registered at the DB with roller bearings and reinforced bogies, equipped with metal wheel sets, spring buffers, close coupling mechanism according to NEM, standard coupling shaft, kinemagnetic, can be retrofitted with original screw coupling.
Prototype: The four-axle flat wagons were first developed in 1940 for the transport of heavy loads such as tanks. With a loading length of 8.8 meters to the brakeman’s platform and a total loading length of 9.5 m, the SSy 45 could transport a load weight of 50 tons.
