Description

Model: HOm gauge DC. The last Uhk 2872 wagon built in 1948 that was still used as a fuel tank wagon (transport of jet fuel for Air Zermatt) was handed over by the MGB to the DFB in 2021. Initially, only the MGB address and the hazardous goods markings were removed. The car is currently being used by the DFB as a water transport car between Realp and Tiefenbach. Due to the drought, there is not enough water at the Tiefenbach station on certain days. The car is taken down the valley by diesel train and, after filling, is taken back to Tiefenbach by diesel train. The diesel train is preceded by the MGB HGm 4/4, which is rented to the DFB in the summer season. In addition to the passenger cars, it can also easily carry the loaded freight cars.
